Chapter II Coffee opened its doors in Long Beach in March 2024. After seven years running her first coffee shop in Santa Monica, owner Porenia Pen started her next chapter on 2nd Street in the heart of the Belmont Shore neighborhood.

I decided to grab a quesadilla and a hot chocolate for lunch, since I work on 2nd street, and it was SO GOOD! The quesadilla had a ton of chicken in it and the hot chocolate was fantastic. And I'm picky about my hot chocolate after working in a Christmas theme park! Definitely planning on trying more of their menu out when I can! Support your local businesses

Owner and staff are super friendly. Better options/ambiance than when it was blue mountain. Music good for studying/work but not elevator-like either. Outdoor seating. Walkable from beach. Long hours. Strong wifi and clean bathrooms!
